Watchstander

This position is with Excalibur Associates, Inc., serving a government agency as a Watchstander/Watch Officer (Alarm Monitor) facilitating the 24/7/365 network monitoring functionality of a government facility and has the responsibility of coordinating and overseeing all the functions within that facility. The WS/WO monitors alarms and responds incidents in the Emergency Operation Center (EOC). The WS is a professional, detail-oriented liaison who serves as the focal point for external communications. Essential Duties &

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of security duties that include monitoring, situational awareness, and threat response for the Emergency Operations Center (EOC). Continues observation of interior and exterior intrusion detection systems, entry access control systems, Fire alarm, CCTV surveillance systems, as well as use of communications systems and documentations for incident reporting.
Responsible for collecting, analyzing, and producing critical information on worldwide events to support response for mitigating incidents and threats to people, information and facilities.
May use secure and unsecured communications systems and documents for incident reporting.
Execute other duties that may be assigned.

Required

Skills

Associate's Degree (or higher) or 2 years of experience in Emergency Management, Continuity of Operations and Incident Command.
TS/SCI Clearance DoD 8570 IAT II Certifications (preferred) Ability to direct sensitive missions in a fast-paced, high-impact 24/7 operations center to satisfy collection requirements and maximize resource effectiveness Experience with crisis management in high-risk or high consequence environments, including federal or state law enforcement, military or intelligence operations Ability to develop knowledge of the customers intelligence operations life cycle and how to provide effective support thorough all stages Ability to conduct weekly rotating shift work Desired

Skills

Experience in Intelligence Operations / Analysis / Support to Field Operations Experience using customer databases to monitor field traffic and communicate with field offices

Benefits

Salary range is $40.00 - $42.00 per hour (up to $83,200 - $87,360 per year) . Full company benefits available. Excalibur Associates, Inc.
