Pull intermodal containers from the port to surrounding local areas, get loaded up and return the containers to the port.

Job summary

• $1,000 - $1,500 total average weekly pay
• 2,500 - 3,500 average miles per week
• Semi local
• Contract driver (1099, solo)
• Refrigerated and Intermodal Container
• 100% no touch freight

Home time

• 5 days on 2 days off
• Home every weekend

Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to

• Being available for work at all times in order to meet customer pickup and delivery schedules.
• Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
• Maintaining a driver's log in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Submitting customer paperwork and deposits including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports.
• Inspection of vehicle, equipment, and cargo to ensure everything is safe, legal, and secure.

Hiring requirements

• At least 25 years old
• Class A license without any of the following restrictions: Manual (E), Air brakes (L,Z), Night driving (G), No semi trailer (O) or Intrastate only (K)
• 2 years OTR experience in the last 2 years
• Experience must be with a 36 ft trailer minimum
• Must have TWIC card at time of hire
• Must be able to pass urine drug test
• Must be eligible to work in the US
• Must have basic English proficiency
• Must have a valid DOT medical card
