This Social Media Manager position is best suited for an individual who is obsessed with two things: fishing and social media.
A TikTok, Instagram and Fishbrain superuser. Someone that can name your top 10 YouTube fishing accounts off the top of your head. Responsible for growing channels, creating original text and video content, managing posts and responding to followers. Social Media Manager will manage the company image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals. As the Social Media Manager, you will be expected to be up to date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express the company's views creatively. Ultimately, you should be able to handle our social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement.

Requirements

The Social Media Manager will have a minimum of 5 years-experience Proven work experience as a social media manager Hands on experience in content management with tools like Hootsuite or HubSpot Excellent copywriting skills Ability to deliver creative content in a timely manner (text, image and video) Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics Knowledge of online marketing channels and strategy Familiarity with web design, Photoshop, Canva, or other design tools Excellent communication skills Analytical and multitasking skills Deep knowledge of fishing and the fishing industry a plus Bachelor's degree in Marketing or relevant field Social Media Manager

Job Responsibilities

Performing research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences Designing and implementing social media strategy to align with business goals Setting specific objectives and reporting on ROI Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news) Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews Monitor and engage with influencer content across social channels Oversee social media accounts' design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout) Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions Stay up to date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications WHO WE ARE Choosing the Hire Road is about shared success, active and committed partnerships and relationships that last.
