POSITION

Performs product promotional work to the architectural and engineering community to secure and sell new business. Responsible for securing specifications and increase regional influence with major accounts in existing and new territories with the goal to maximize full market potential. Represent the CS's core values of Creativity, Solution driven and Integrity and conduct oneself as a professional and knowledgeable resource that can be relied on for a successful and profitable completion.
NOTE TO CANDIDATES:
This position covers the state of Georgia with most focus on the Atlanta area. Candidates will work remotely and must live within reasonable driving distance to Atlanta as the position requires traveling in Atlanta area a few times a week. This position covers both interior and exterior products for CS.ESSENTIAL

DUTIES

AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions, including but not necessarily limited to the following: Responsible for specification development and product promotion in assigned region. Develop and maintain working relationships with architectural, contractor and engineering community to ensure maximum margin on specified projects. Plans, controls and follows all quotations, through customer order, for any project in which their involvement is directly related. Coordinates with each representative to ascertain competitive information by area to ensure contract award. Personally promotes and/or assists sales representatives to promote and secure new, major and important accounts. Develops and coordinates sales presentations for the architectural , contractor and engineering community with in the region. Including local association or trade shows as deemed necessary. Work with local representative network to respond to inquiries from customers, architects concerning price, application of products, technical product information. Coordinates and otherwise assists with the services of the company's technical engineering staff to determine customers' needs. Provides guidance and assistance to customers and sales reps as may be required. Must maintains a working knowledge and up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that affect our market for all products and services to assist in the optimal selection of product best suited for the customers' needs. Works in conjunction with the Territory Manager towards the common goal of attaining assigned budget. Researches pertinent information for the territory and prospect for opportunities using Construct Connect , Market Leader and or similar data analytic sources. Implement Market Development strategies for increasing sales and profits through specific market customers. Ascertain market and customer needs and reviews potential new product concepts to maximize product offering in the region. Assists and works closely with the Sales Managers, Marketing and others to promote and maintain the highest possible relationship with customers to assure satisfaction and improve the image of the company. Travels as required within assigned region to maintain effectiveness. Travel to Corporate locations as required. Ensure travel plans so as to be most cost benefit for the company. Reasonable expectation of travel to exceed 50%.Prepares and submits periodic reports on measurements of activities, sales volume, expenses, etc., for the Sales Manager.
KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE/ EDUCATION: (Minimum Education and/or Experience required)Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year College or technical school. Bachelor's degree preferred.5 years experienceRead architectural blueprints.
Analytical capability.
Customer relation skills.
Computer literacy.
Advanced Math skills.
Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
Knowledgeable leadership characteristics.
Knowledge of architectural market and how to work with contractors, estimating procedures, pricing and discountingSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:none
