Temp to Perm Administrative Receptionist, hedge fund

Job Summary.
Successful Hedge Fund in Midtown Manhattan seeks to immediately hire a Temp to Perm Administrative Receptionist for their brand new office space. The client is targeting a start date of August 2, 2021. Daily responsibilities will include answering phones, greeting visitors and employees, registering visitors with security, ordering supplies, conference room management, conference room scheduling, helping with tech and audio visual set-up, coordinating with the building and vendors for work that needs to get done (COI's, etc.), kitchen and pantry maintenance, and other ad-hoc tasks as they arise. Our client is looking for someone to take ownership of this position and be proactive within their role suggesting efficiencies. Over time there is an opportunity as well to expand into providing administrative assistant support to some individuals with the company. Candidates will need a Bachelor's degree, 2 + years of related experience preferably out of financial services or a related professional services firm and have a positive, friendly demeanor. Hours are Monday - Friday 8:30am
- 4:30pm with flexibility to work earlier or later if there are meetings. Salary is dependent on experience plus discretionary bonus and a robust benefits package.
