Program Manager II - Military Veterans
MILITARY VETERANS Eaton's Fluid Electrical Distribution Division, a part of our Aerospace group, is currently seeking a Program Manager II to join our Integrated Product team. This position will be based out of our Camarillo, CA office. Position Overview: The Program Manager II will supervise the integrated product team assigned to the overall program. They will establish objectives and goals and provides direction to the program and project teams in areas of customer concerns, potential changes in scope and risk assessment. The incumbent will facilitate the implementation of program management processes at the site, business unit or Division. The Program Manager will leverage ProPM, Eaton's Integrated Program and Portfolio Management system, to provide visibility to the health of the program, and a single source of information for all aspects of the program. This includes periodic program updates (Program Status Report
- Green/Yellow/Red) of current situation relating to contractual milestones and problem/high risk areas (e.g., technical, cost, and schedule). The candidate selected for the role will manage financials (ETC/EAC) and overall performance of projects for both recurring and non-recurring cost (Program NRE Gross Margin & Forecast Gross Margin).They will play a key role in developing new business proposals and executing the overall program plan. + Manages effective customer communications by providing overall program interface, improving organization responsiveness to customer requirements, and communicating/managing expectations and contractual commitments internal to the business.
+ Ensures standard program management processes are utilized and adequate support to the program and project teams by coordinating PM reviews, preparing & publishing PM metrics and reports.
+ Maintain metrics for program for financials, quality, schedule, technical performance and delivery through all phases of PROLaunch
+ Manages effective risk management. Works with IPT teams to define project risks (threats and opportunities), and pro-actively identifies mitigation actions.
+ Coordinates all risks and requirements of the program into a complete integrated entity. This is accomplished by planning, controlling, and measuring all elements to ensure the requirements and goals are successfully achieved.
+ Manages customer contract, pricing, terms and conditions and contractual flow-down through the organization.
+ Establish and negotiate pricing strategies by system and/or product, market and by customer. Develop contract negotiation strategies.

Qualifications+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required
+ Minimum 5 years' experience in program management, engineering, operations, supply chain or working in an manufacturing environment
+ Minimum 1 year direct report management/leadership experience Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
+ This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. "Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
+ No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 60-mile radius of Camarillo, CA will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications+ Experience in Aerospace or other technical industry
+ Work experience in engineering, program management, supply chain, operations, quality or other technical function
+ Proven Leadership skills - capability to lead change in a complex environment across multiple sites and customers globally
+ Experience in Program and Project Management methodologies, processes and tools
+ Project Management Institute (PMI) accreditation (PMP) highly recommended.
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills - both verbal and written with ability to make necessary status reports and technical presentations to Eaton management and customer
+ Experience in Risk Management
+ Strong analytical skills and business acumen
