Sr. Program Manager, Amazon Logistics Project Management Office

North American Amazon Logistics (NA AMZL) is looking to hire aProgram Management Office (PMO) Manager that can promote innovation and execution in last mile delivery and transportation networks. Key

Responsibilities

- Own strategic, tactical, cross-functional planning projects to lead the Operation Planning Cycle on the NA Planning team.
- Work with Program and Project leaders
- Coordinate the AMZL logistics NA Planning pipeline through multiple development cycles (Long Term, Mid Term and Short Term)
- Coordinate with Volume and Capacity Planning teams to set volume plans for hundreds of sites in the NA Delivery network
- Identify project deliverables and development of an AMZL NA Planning program roadmap
- Revamp all internal AMZL NA Planning project management tools to ensure standardization and efficiency
- Set up the knowledge database and reporting web portal for the AMZL NA Planning team to various Sr. Leadership stakeholders
- Coordination, governance, and visibility of program and project deliverables to ensure that these are delivered to time and cost specification.
- Identify and introduce project management systems and workflows that support the efficient delivery of the program portfolio
- Provide structured program updates to defined AMZL stakeholders, highlighting program progress, performance, and risk
- Provide a mix of support, coaching, and challenge to the NA AMZL Planning Program team in the pursuit of roadmap delivery
- Own the Operational Planning Cycle network documentation
- Responsible for planning, writing, and delivering monthly, bimonthy, quarterly, and yearly planning cycle documents to VP-level leadership teams
- Design and coordinate program governance systems and their respective inputs and outputs
- Set up the AMZL NA Planning intranet page that will function as the ultimate reference to all the latest information to support the various planning pillars and external partners.
Basic qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent work experience
- 5 years of experience in project/program management
- 2 years of experience in a PMO role
- 5 years of experience using Excel and Project Management tools (Asana, Trello, etc.)Preferred qualification
- Master's degree- 5 years professional experience in transportation, network design, or e-commerce
- Ability to prepare, report, and interpret large sets of labor planning data
- Significant work experience in operations, supply chain, logistics, e-commerce
- Quantitative analytical capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication
