Product Manager

The client is seeking a Product Manager II in financial services to develop a strategy for designing and implementing financialmortgage products. The product Manager is responsible for collaborating with stakeholder to effectively market our financial products and services.

Job Responsibilities

Collect and analyze data on customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand. Prepare reports of findings, illustrating data graphically and translating complex findings into written text. Forecast and track marketing and sales trends, analyzing collected data. Seek and provide information to help companies determine their position in the marketplace. Engage project managers and senior leadership in to developing financial products. Develop financial analysis to model the product's cost and potential margin. Drive different teams and departments to make sure you achieve all of your initial goals. Forecast and track marketing and sales trends, analyzing collected data. Conduct research on consumer opinions and marketing strategies, collaborating with marketing professionals, statisticians, pollsters, and other professionals. Measure the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and communications programs and strategies.

Skills

Verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, customer service and interpersonal skills. Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time. Basic knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Power.
Point, and any other related financial and marketing software. Basic knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods. Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed. Mortgage banking experience preferred. Knowledge of financial products. Education.

Experience

Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent training required. 2-4 years related experience required.
