GCOM is looking for candidates, to fill a role of NYC Department Account Manager to join our New York City GCOM team. The Account manager develops a strategic plan to advance the companyrsquos vision, mission, and objectives, as well as to promote the growth of revenue, profitability, and the human capital of the organization.
Key

Responsibilities

Develop a strategic plan to support agency customers in their mission and objectives. Plan, develop and implement strategies for generating resources andor revenues for the company. Support GCOM business development by developing call plans, market assessments, and insight into productservice strategies Evaluate the perform of Account Team for compliance with established policies and objectives of the company and contributions in attaining objectives. Represent the company at legislative sessions, committee meetings, and at formal functions. Promote the company to local, regional, national, and international constituencies. Promote the company through written articles and personal appearances at conferences and other media venues. Support client requests as they are documented in the statement of work or contract. Support a portfolio of NYC government agencies to ensure customer satisfaction and the development of new opportunities while guiding the activities of project teams to meet strategic objectives. Support and lead proposal development activities, including writing proposals and supporting estimating activities

Qualifications

10 years of general business experience required. 5 yearsrsquo experience in a leadership role for a large division or company desired. Extensive experience in the New York City market Knowledge of NYC Government agencies Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management Experience in formulating policy and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures. Ability to develop financial plans, manage resources, analyze interpret financial data. Ability to identify secure fundingrevenue sources. Knowledge of public relationscommunications techniques, principles, nd practices. Ability to communicate interact with officials at all levels of government and within a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. Ability to motivate teams simultaneously manage several projects. Willingness to work a flexible schedule and travel as needed.
