Lead Software Engineer / Architect (IoT)

You will lead and collaborate with other engineers to design, plan, develop and maintain software components for Internet of Things (IoT) devices and Cloud. In addition, you will be responsible for the successful implementation and delivery of embedded software products and components throughout the entire product lifecycle, ensuring project deliverables are on-time and have the highest quality while assuring proper technical requirements meet customer criteria. In this role you will also collaborate with global teams to create best in class mobile applications.
BACKGROUND Senior level experience developing cloud (GCP, AWS, Azure) microservices capable of connecting millions of devices Experience developing embedded software in CC++ Experienced in the architecture, design, devicecloud integration, and development of Internet of Things software Design and debug experience for solutions involving hardware, embedded firmware, server back-ends at scale, mobile, and web Experience with device and cloud software development Experience with WebInternet of Things communication protocols such as https, web-sockets, XMPP, COAP, MQTT with XMLJSON payloads, and Thread Strong understanding of REST, microservices architecture best security practices Ability to develop unit test driven software components Familiar with Configuration Management tools (Version control, bug tracking, change management, automated builds, and coding standards). Familiar with static and dynamic analysis software tools Experience developing in Waterfall and Iterative Software development processes.
