If you are an ambitious writer with strong instructional designer with strong technical writing skills, we are looking for you. You will engage with us at the worldrsquos largest social network to design, write, and edit purposeful technical and process documentation in the data center, infrastructure and networking space. You will explain complex information in a clear and concise manner while ensuring accuracy of product descriptions. Those are just some of the many fun things that will come your way in this role. Required Research a subject matter domain and the teamrsquos processesprocedures through internal wikis, engaging in-person interviews and relevant localstatenational requirements (safety, healthy, environment) to generate and author original content Technical writing Develop original content into documents, in a variety of formats including word, Power.
Point, wiki dozuki, etc., presentations, videos, e-learn courses (articulate) and step-by-step instructions for training, standardization and onboarding materials to educate a global team. Partner with internal Subject Matter Experts (each a ldquoSMErdquo) and cross functional teams to create technical publications, operating manuals, user guides, quick reference material, application and technical notes, training materials, etc. Host in-process reviews, and perform verification of technical manuals with operators, peers, and customers. Coordinate with data center teams to gather supplemental photosvideos, documents and materials for holistic training where required. Socialize new content with subject matter experts. Maintain created material on an ongoing basis. Synthesize instructional content with an eye for safety and occupational considerations and accessibility best practices (e.g. color-blindness, options for closed captioning, etc.). Work with a large cross-functional team to review and obtain approval on documentation before publication.
