Contract Overview

PEO EIS develops, acquires, and deploys tactical and non-tactical information technology systems and communications products and services. The organization is a center of excellence for systems acquisition, development, and integration of IT products and services. The purpose of this contract is to obtain various functional support services to augment the efforts of the existing workforce and enable the organization to keep pace with the rapid pace of customer acquisition requirements.

Position General


IT Focus:

  • Perform Security Control Assessor Level Assessment of Special Access Program networks to identify the operational, management, and technical security controls employed and to assess the overall effectiveness of the controls.
  • Configure, test, and field workstations and servers based on Army / Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) / PEO EIS organizational requirements. Contractor personnel shall assist in future IT planning and coordinating systems design, acquisition, testing, installation, and support.
  • Responsible for monitoring, data backup and recovery techniques, system utilization, and recovery testing.
  • Monitor the ongoing operation of the servers / workstations to identify and correct problem areas and provide utilization reports as needed.
  • Ensure the optimization of network and system functionality, diagnosing, and recovering failed systems.
  • Identify and anticipate server performance, availability, and capacity or configuration problems. Initiates corrective action or preventive actions as required to restore failed system(s). Responsible for assisting customers in testing, configuring, utilizing, upgrading, and sanitizing information technology systems, ensuring all processes are in compliance with security related directives and guidance for Information Assurance; Information Technology; and Information Management.

Position Qualifications

  • BA in related field, 6 additional years of experience w/o degree will be accepted.
  • Four (4) years of progressive experience providing senior-level Information Technology support to perform systems administration duties in multiple Microsoft server/ workstation environments with differing configurations based on the requirements of the user and /or customer.
  • General IT Focus:
    • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) Actual certification dependent upon active Windows certification programs, as Microsoft is currently restructuring their certification programs
    • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
  • TS/SCI Clearance
