Join Cardno's Science and Environment team in Sacrament, CA to play an integral role in assisting project managers with hydroelectric projects
Job Description
Cardno is seeking a Hydroelectric Assistant Project Manager in our Sacramento, CA office.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
> Assisting Project managers and technical leads; scheduling; consultant and sub-consultant team coordination to ensure milestones are achieved; adherence to Cardno and client safety requirements; and reporting to and interfacing with clients.
> Serving as a task leader/resource specialist on our hydroelectric relicensing projects
> Preparing high-quality technical reports, proposals, tables, figures, and Power.
Point presentations
> Tracking project budgets and working with Project Managers to assure project expenditures are closely monitored
> Create and modify complex budget spreadsheets in Excel, including extensive data manipulation and formatting
> Assist with preparation of subcontracts and subcontractor task orders
> Assist with budget forecasting
> Analyze vendor invoices and expense reports and confirm contractual compliance for invoicing inclusion
> Review client invoices
> Assisting with maintenance of Share.

> Complying with all Cardno and client policies including those related to safety, anti-harassment, and drug use
Basic Qualifications
> Bachelor's degree in biology or related science and 4 to 10 years of related field/office experience, preferably including FERC's hydroelectric relicensing and/or compliance projects
> Previous project controls experience, preferably for environmental consulting, planning or engineering
> Experience in an office environment, including preparing large reports
> Understanding of contract administration and office procedures.
> Strong proficiency in computer software including Excel, MS word, and Power.
