Director of Financial Planning & Analysis

As a business partner to the CFO, the Finance Director will develop a best-in-class finance function and be responsible for the financial planning and analysis, treasury and reporting process to ensure timely delivery of financial and operational information to all key internal and external stakeholders. The Finance Director is responsible for all aspects and processes of treasury, cash forecasting and long-term planning/modeling. The Finance Director will work closely with the CFO, corporate controller and business leaders in the organization to assist in financial due diligence, setting financial goals, as well as provide guidance with respect to current and historical trends, comparison to established metrics and compliance with the budgets and forecasts. Job Responsibilities

Establish credibility throughout the company as an effective problem solver, mentor and thought leader on financial issues; Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with functional leaders and teams across the company; In conjunction with business leadership, develop company, business unit and departmental budgets, ensuring they are focused on achieving operational efficiencies and ensuring the linkage between the budget and longer term growth goals; Analyze, review and challenge business unit and department forecast assumptions; Provide timely and accurate financial reporting to assist the executive team, the Board of Directors and other senior leaders in managing their responsibilities including the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial packages and KPIs; Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causality; Research, select and implement a business intelligence tool and dashboard reporting; Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies and understand ROI across profit lines, participating in such special projects as competitive pricing strategy sessions, commission modeling, new product introduction modeling, product adoption and monetization timelines; Manage the treasury function for the company including multiple bank accounts; Develop and maintain a cash forecast to monitor expected sources and uses of cash and provide an accurate forecast of upcoming cash needs; Develop and maintain long-term planning financial models; Provide business intelligence on financial results and key performance indicators to facilitate business decisions; Provide support for board of director presentations; Direct the daily activities and the career development of team members, including hiring, coaching, reviewing work, establishing goals and performance


Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA/Master of Accounting preferred; CPA with public accounting experience a plus; Minimum 10 years in progressive experience; Experience in business planning, analysis and reporting; Experience with budgeting and forecasting tools; Prior experience with SaaS software and private equity preferred; Previous responsibility over the treasury and FP&A functions, with more hands-on experience in financial reporting, business modeling, and financial planning desired; NetSuite ERP a plus; Strong and broad experience in accounting and ability to apply strong US GAAP knowledge to business scenarios; Communication skills for credibility at all levels of the organization; Ability to work effectively with large amounts of data, drill down into details and provide concise and accurate overviews; extreme attention to details; Ability to drive process improvements to support growth and effectively work and produce accurate results in a fast-paced environment; Advanced Excel, Power.
Point skills; and Superior skills in managing complex financial models.
