Solution Consultant Manager

Overview of Position
The Solution Consultant Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the solution consultant team. This team is comprised of clinical experts that demonstrate the entire Enterprise Imaging portfolio of radiology, cardiology on-prem, and cloud-based solutions with the goal to win the clinical vote and demonstrate the value that our solutions bring to solve or improve their current workflows. Create strong relationships within the Sales Channel including Sales leadership, Sales Executives, Account Managers, Solution Architects, the RFP team, Product Development and Product Marketing. Ensure the Solution Consultants and demo engineers have the software and tools they need. Responsible for the oversight of the build and maintaining of the demo system and equipment. - Business Units to ensure alignment between product direction and clinical selling. The position requires an individual who is particularly strong in the following areas: communication, time management, people management, and problem-solving skills. What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
Management
- 40%Manage day-to-day responsibilities of the Solution Consultant team. Work with the leaders of Sales and Sales Enablement to define objectives for the team. Manage key performance indicators. Responsible for driving team to meet individual and team scorecard targets and staff development plans. Monitor, report, and manage the team's performance, productivity, and travel expenses. Act as an escalation point for any customer-related issues. Monitor Demo Support engineers, assisting in the prioritization of the Demo Vehicle roadmap development, to align with the needs of the entire demo program. Team Leadership
- 30%Manage Solution Consultant and Demo Support Engineers on special projects. Observe and provide feedback to Solution Consultants during demonstrations and presentations. Work closely with Product Management and Marketing to ensure the Solution Consultant team is synced with current and future product direction. Provide feedback to Product Management on customer product feedback. Develop the messaging to ensure consistency across the team members. Assignment of Solution Consultants as part of RFP selling stage to ensure clinical messaging and alignment during clinical presentations.
Talent Management & Development (mentoring, coaching, salary and performance management, hiring)
- 30%Responsible for salary and performance management for the team, as well as hiring and talent development directly. Responsible for monitoring and managing travel expenses for the team. Shadow team members to customer engagements to monitor performance, and provide coaching and feedback to improve performance and stimulate growth. Develop training plans for each team member to ensure their clinical and technical knowledge remains up to date and grows as the product lines grow and change. What are the requirements needed for this position?3-5 years leading teams in a sales support function.
Proven track record in managing high-performing teams.
Experience interfacing with numerous internal stakeholders (sales, demonstrators, solution architects)What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?
Product management.
Experience within cardiology and/or radiology.
Demonstrated examples of increasing team performance through developing new and improving existing processes.
