We have worked with our current client for the past 5 years and they are looking for an experienced CMM Quality Inspector for a possible Contract to Hire opportunity in their Melvindale, Mi. location.

CMM Quality Inspector

Job Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret plans and specifications
  • Verify 1st piece to blueprint and work with Quality to determine best machining processes
  • Determine efficient fixturing and tooling to create repeatable process for future production runs
  • Monitor multiple operating machine tools in one environment
  • Ability to assist employees responsible for production work after setup is verified
  • 7:00AM '" 3:30PM Monday '" Friday $18.00 -$23.00

    CMM Quality Inspector

    Skills

  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Strong blueprint reading skills with emphasis on interpreting quality requirements and GD&T
  • Efficient communication skills
  • Knowledge of machining, sheet metal fabrication, casting, forging, and welding processes
  • Education, Experience, and Licensing

    Requirements

  • 3-5 years' experience with PC-DMIS
  • 5-10 years' experience in Manufacturing/Quality
  • Experience with Military and Commercial specifications AMS, SAE, etc.
