Business Technology Platform Services Manager - Salesforce
Zions Bancorporation is seeking a Business Technology Platform Manager to build and lead our Salesforce Software Development team. You will lead our Salesforce Software Development team working with stakeholders to deliver solutions using Agile methodologies. Your team will design, develop, configure, test, and support technology solutions. ResponsibilitiesDevelop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to support critical business functions and meet organizational objectives. Ensuring the platform meets the requirements of all stakeholders including business, technology, risk, and operations. Deliver and maintain secure, accurate, available and compliant technology solutions operating within established standards and frameworks. Creating, maintaining and delivering the strategic technology roadmap and continual improvement plan that shapes demand and consumption for the platform. Directing platform engineering, ensuring business fit and non-functional elements of platform implementation are effective. Ensuring the platform team has the needed technical skills, competencies, business domain expertise, process knowledge, industry sector knowledge, and capacity to achieve organizational goals and objectives. As, OLAs, KPIs, KRIs, and reporting that measure the performance and value contributions to the enterprise are in place and effective. Managing the vendor relationship ensuring strategic governance of the vendors performance and contributions to organizational objectives and strategy. (for applications reword ndash roadmap performance support). Understanding and managing the total cost of ownership of the platform including hardware, software, FT
E and contractors, and professional services of the application.
QualificationsRequires a bachelorrsquos degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related degree and 8 yearsrsquo experience managing software development teams. Requires experience as a Salesforce developer on the Salesforce platform preferably experience with the Salesforce Financial Services Cloud. Requires an in-depth knowledge of business technology and platforms, systems, processes and tools. Advanced understanding of complex technology ecosystems, DevOps principles and practices, waterfall and agile SDLC processes. Strong working knowledge of financialbanking systems andor applications. Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to communicate effectively with senior business and technical management, vendors and tactical staff employees. Ability to influence others. Ability to set and meet long term goals and maintain high quality work standards. Ability to exercise independent judgment, effectively prioritize and execute tasks. Proven ability to identify, analysis and solve problems. Adjusts quickly to changing priorities and conditions. Copes effectively with complexity and change. Excellent attention to detail.
