Senior People Analytics Analyst

The role of a Senior People Analytics Analyst requires one-part data detective, one-part compassionate consultant, and a dash of an enterprising entrepreneur. In this role, you will delight and transform customers, empathizing with their needs, distilling insights about their most pressing priorities, and delivering a performance that meets them where they are and leads them beyond. Keep reading. Our People Analytics team is looking for a new Senior Analyst to partner with our customers to provide analytic solutions to their most important problems. We are looking for teammates whose passion for analysis is rivaled by their love of narrative and tempered with a strong relationship orientation. You will work together with our dedicated Reporting team, invaluable masters of the ins and outs of all things data, to deliver meaningful insights to our key customers. With our Reporting gurus at your side, the role doesn't require a strong Human Resources background, but rather, the curiosity and consultative skills that make for an exemplary analytics partner. What You'll Do Communicate compelling stories, weaving analytic findings, data visualizations, and recommendations into strong presentations tailored to customer's current analytic capacity. Partner with our Voice of the Employee team to execute Cox's employee listening strategy, supporting survey development, administration, analysis, and executive presentations. Guide customers in their quests to understand and measure their organization better by selecting meaningful metrics, interpreting data, and translating it into actionable recommendations. Coach customers to probe deeper into the possibilities of analytics and ask meaningful questions. Derive insight from Human Resources data by forming and testing hypotheses; synthesize conclusions into recommendations. Put on your entrepreneurial hat and partner with customers to understand their strategies and identify opportunities for data-driven insights and decisions. Collaborate with our rock star reporting team to implement reporting changes based on analytic insights and ensure seamless interactions with customers. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR systems and reporting, analysis tools, and techniques. Who You AreDoes data-driven decision-making spark joy in your heart?

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, I/O Psychology, Human Resources, Marketing Research, Behavioral Economics, Social Sciences (e.g., Anthropology, Sociology), or Data Science a plus3+ years of working knowledge and experience with reporting and analyzing data from complex business systems. Excellent presentation and storytelling skills; previous executive presentation experience, preferably conducting engagement survey readouts. Ability to synthesize complex datasets, create key takeaways & recommendations, and influence by telling a story built on data. Ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders. Experience in the lifecycle of employee experience measurement, including engagement survey design. Strong proficiency in data visualization. Proven ability to communicate complex technical ideas and theories, in an informative and persuasive manner, to a non-technical audience. Advanced experience with one or more of the following tools:
SQL, Tableau, OBIEE, or other reporting tools. Experience with analytics tools (e.g., R/R Studio, SPSS, SAS). What's In It For You?
