6 awesome uses for Revision History

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text el_class=”topfeed-summary-list”]

  • Google provides you with your own personal time machine in a tool called Revision History, which lets you see every change ever made to a document, when the change was made, and who made the change.
  • How Revision History works – – To access Revision History you need to be the owner or have edit rights to a file in Google Documents, Slides, Sheets, or Drawings.
  • 1) Track improvements – – – One of the most powerful uses of Revision History is to see the changes a student has made to their work as they have improved it during the course of a project.
  • 5) Detect plagiarism / cheating – – – Because Revision History shows you when each change was made to a document, it can assist when investigating possible cheating or plagiarism concerns.
  • If a student chooses to harass another, or to write content that is offensive or obscene, Revision History is a powerful tool to go back and view those comments, even if the student deleted them after the fact.

Google Certified Educator Capacity Matrix (Level 1)

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text el_class=”topfeed-summary-list”]

  • The Google Certified Educator program has a lot to offer educators who are looking to learn how to meaningfully use Google tools in the classroom and beyond.
  • I have put together a capacity matrix to help teachers better understand the skills that are required to become a Level 1 Google Certified Educator.
  • So as I have been developing my new, online Google Certified Educator Academies, I have been developing this matrix.
  • I used capacity matrices in my classroom and thought it would be a very useful tool for educators to connect to the Google Certified Educator curriculum, better understand what they need to know and be able to do, and see progress over time.
  • Here you can use the check boxes to self-assess: – – I am excited to announce that the Level 1 Google Certified Educator Academy (VIP Course) will open for limited enrollment on Dec. 15, 2017 (with special VIP bonuses)!
